Does the person signing need an account?
No. They open their link, fill in their fields and sign.
Is it legally binding?
It records a simple electronic signature, which is accepted for most everyday agreements in the UK and EU. It is not for documents that must be witnessed or made as a deed. If in doubt, take advice.
How do you know who signed?
The signing record keeps the name, email, IP address, browser and time, and the exact consent text. Signing through the emailed link also marks the email address verified.
Can an AI assistant fill it in?
Yes, and it cannot sign. A separate fill link lets an assistant complete names, dates and choices; signature and initial fields refuse it by type. Only a person can sign, on the page, with a consent box.
Can I check a signed document later?
Yes. Every signed document has a verify page that shows its signing record.
